Knowledge Base

Below you can find instructions that may be useful for changing the settings of the email program on your computer or phone.
Setting up an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, The Bat!, Apple Mail and other programs)
Most programs should allow you to change POP3/SMTP/IMAP address settings without much trouble. In most cases you should only change the domain suffix (stanczyk.com.plstanczyk.net) and enter a new password.
POP3 address: pop3.stanczyk.net, port 995 (110 if you connect without SSL/TLS), connect using SSL/TLS and a plain text password, use your email address as login, use the same password as for webmail.
SMTP address: smtp.stanczyk.net, port 465 (or 587), connect using SSL/TLS and the usual password, use your email address as login, use the same password as for webmail.
IMAP address: imap.stanczyk.net, port 993 (143 if connecting without SSL/TLS), connect using SSL/TLS and the usual password, use your email address as login, password the same as for webmail.
Note: We strongly recommend you not to connect to your mail without encryption. SSL/TLS provides a high level of security, similar to that used by electronic banking.
If you are using an iPhone or Macintosh: Changing the SMTP server in newer versions of iOS may take a moment. The settings window may appear to be frozen, but during this time the system is verifying the configuration. There is no need to panic. Remember that on iPhone and Macintosh, you need to disable the old SMTP server in the Mail app settings.
Note: If you see a message about an invalid certificate due to an invalid domain name - ignore this error and accept the connection. The connection is secure. This message is due to the characteristics of some programs.
